If there’s one constant thread in my life, it’s the unwavering love and support of my parents and grandparents. They have always stood behind my reasonable dreams, offering guidance and encouragement while giving me the freedom to explore my path.
Families are the compass that guides us. They are the inspiration to reach great heights, and our comfort when we occasionally falter.

Nurturing Resilience and Diverse Interests
Growing up, I wasn’t enrolled in endless academic or extracurricular classes. Instead, my parents prioritized nurturing my interests. They signed me up for flute, piano, Go, and dance classes—activities that shaped my creativity and discipline. Their philosophy was simple but profound: *once you start something, stick with it.* I learned to carefully consider my decisions and, once committed, move forward with determination.
Another pillar of their values was health and sports. My family has always emphasized physical activity—not for the sake of competition but for the joy of the process and the importance of a healthy body. My dad would take me swimming and teach me basketball when I was young, and as I grew older, I found joy in volleyball and ping-pong. These experiences not only built my fitness but also cultivated a love for staying active and balanced.
Courage to Explore
Perhaps what I treasure most is how much they valued my hands-on abilities and problem-solving skills. They gave me plenty of opportunities to experiment and even fail. From baking cakes in our kitchen to assembling a high-performance desktop computer from scratch, I’ve always felt empowered to try new things.
Even as I entered adulthood, their support never wavered. When I decided to travel alone to see the world, they didn’t hesitate to cheer me on. Their encouragement gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and embrace challenges, knowing that failure was just part of the journey. Thanks to them, I truly believe there’s nothing I can’t achieve with effort and persistence.
My family’s lessons extend far beyond skills and achievements. They’ve instilled in me a belief in the value of resilience, the importance of health, and the freedom to explore the world with an open mind. For that, I am endlessly grateful.
So here’s to them—the roots of who I am today, and the recipes for a fulfilling life. Thank you, and I love you, my family!
