As the team leader, I oversaw the project development and ensured the seamless integration of VR technology with fitness training to create an innovative solution for volleyball enthusiasts.
This project focuses on home-based volleyball training and fitness for enthusiasts, exploring innovative fitness models in the unique post-pandemic era. It aims to provide volleyball enthusiasts with a comprehensive home training experience that ensures the realistic feel of volleyball practice and has the potential to expand to other sports in the future.
Currently, most volleyball products on the market require sports arenas or outdoor open spaces and are designed for isolated actions. They lack solutions that replicate the teamwork, anticipation, and coordination necessary for volleyball as a team sport.
The project is designed to overcome spatial height limitations, simulate court training for cooperative reactions, and minimize space requirements. It comprehensively addresses five key training needs for volleyball enthusiasts: endurance, arm strength, jumping ability, core strength, and professional skills, with a focus on enhancing the user experience.
The *Home Volleyball Training Equipment* (Home Volleyball Skill Maintenance Device) consists of two main components: a foundational training unit and a VR court simulation. The foundational training unit integrates functions like a treadmill, pull-ups, spike jump training, and upper body stretching. The VR court simulation includes goggles, a specially designed volleyball, a mimetic board, and infrared sensors.
Additionally, the hardware, combined with intelligent software, offers various modes for customer selection and incorporates the Supreme Vision system to provide efficient, reasonable, and scientific feedback on training data.
